Cartridge Maintenance Tips
- For best printing performance, please always take the cartridge out of the printer and then cover the cartridge with its plastic cap when the printer is not in use for more than 10 minutes. This is to prevent the ink from being try and block the ink nozzle.

Simply place the Bentsai B40 handheld inkjet printer onto the surface to be printed and press the print button. Next, start moving the printer upon the surface, inkjet printing occurs automatically. This printer adapts to the speed of the user, so whether moving fast or slow, the printout will look the same.
2. What is the Metal Printing Positioning for?
To ensure proper print position on surfaces with irregular or uneven surfaces that may wrinkle such as fabrics, kraft paper bags or plastic bags, and many more.
3. Can it print on a T-shirt?
Yes. Bentsai B40 uses water-soluble ink to print on any absorbent materials, including T-shirts.
4. Can I only put one ink cartridge instead of two?
Yes, the B40 dual-head handheld printer has 2 ink cartridge slots. It can print well even if you just insert one ink cartridge into the ink slot for use. Each print head is 25.4mm tall. When inserting 2 ink cartridges, the machine can print nearly 2 inches tall. Up to 20 lines can be printed.
5. What is the difference between Bentsai B40 and B45 dual heads handheld printers?
The main difference between Bentsai B40 and B45 is the ink they use. B45 handheld printer can use both water-based ink and solvent-based quick-drying ink, while the Bentsai B40 only uses water-based ink. So B45 can print on both porous and non-porous surfaces but the B40 can print only on water-absorbing surfaces.
6. Can the ink for the B40 handheld printer be refilled?
Bentsai B40 handheld printer uses water-based ink (EB21B Series), the ink can be refilled to maximize cost savings. You could choose to use the refill ink to fill up the cartridge or keep using the old one. We would recommend you contact us before operating the refill process.
